I would like to know how to mark a Magento product to be “New” or “Sale”
To set product as “New”
- Move to Catalog > Manage Products and select any Magento product you would like to set it as “New”.
- From General tab you will see two fields: Set Product as New from Date and Set Product as New to Date. Complete them and press save.
- Finally you need to reindex and flush the cache
To set product as “Sale”
- Move to Catalog > Manage Products and select any Magento product you would like to set it as “Sale”.
- From price tab you need complete fields: Special price, Special price from Date and Special price to Date, then press save
- Finally you need to reindex and flush the cache
